Mark: Who is Aislin?

Aislin: Derek Serino - Bass/Vocals, Mikey Serino - Drums, Pat Lindquist - Vocals/Guitar

Mark: What best describes the music that you guys play and how did you guys get started?

Aislin: We tend to think we have a style of our own. When writing our music we really don't base it off any other band. A lot of people tell us that we don't sound like anyone else. I mean, we scream and talk. Yea, talking over music. Its weird, but its cool. I cant scream or sing, so here in Aislin, I can talk out what I have to say and Pat screams it. Its all stuff we feel, so it works. Pat and I have been in a previous band, and my younger brother Mikey did the light show for us in that band. That band didn't end up working out. Pat and I needed to get back into the music, so we tried numerous combinations to find a fit. We kind of forced Mikey to play the drums. Finally we just concluded that we should do things with just us three. And thats what we did!

Mark: What is the message that your band is trying to convey?

Aislin: We try to get out there that if you want something, go get it. Anything is possible. In our case, we all share the same common dream. So with the help of each other, we're getting there. Thats why we named our CD "There's No "I" In Dreams"

Mark: If you guys had the chance to share the stage with anyone, who would you guys choose and why?

Aislin: I think we would have to say As Cities Burn and Emery. The energy in their live performance is great. You get entertainment to the fullest. If anyone has not seen them live, its something you need to do!

Mark: Any additional comments?

Aislin: Yeah, we would like to thank Frantik Magazine for giving us this opportunity to do this interview. The zine is sick, so its an honor.
